"Create a whale and Dolphin Collective"
I wanted artists or anyone who cares about our oceans to create works that talk about it's inhabitants and the day to day struggles they face. It's open to interpretation as to how the artists want to work and what medium. You can find the brief at the Facebook page here!
It's amazing the work's people have put forward so far! Thank you very much for supporting our oceans! I wanted people to gift the work for life for free. The idea I had hoped would produce
Ultimately I wanted to help raise money for people caring for our oceans and prompt others to action, creating a wave of work inspired by life out at sea. It's not been a huge wave, but I'm happy with the ripple it's hopefully made and will continue to make with the online gallery.
Sea Shepherd welcomed the project to the 40th anniversary gala they held at the Cutty Sark I hope some of the work made it there! Thank you all!
Beth Richardson a friend and graphic designer had the idea to have an online gallery that's always open to submissions, I'll post links to the online gallery soon! I'm so grateful it's an awesome idea and addition to the project thank you for creating it Beth! and being the brain behind that side of things.
The projects still open to anyone please get in touch to submit to the online gallery. Maybe in time it could have enough works and backing for an exhibition.
